Hey y'all! 

My name is Kasey & I'm the gal behind Golden Gal Candle Co. My story started like a lot of small businesses... I found a passion in what was once just a hobby. I got married at 19 and moved to Jacksonville, FL when my husband joined the Navy. I met an amazing friend while living there, and we started making candles for fun. We gave them as gifts to our families for Christmas, Mother's Day, etc. and to be honest... they weren't the greatest. LOL. I didn't know there was an exact science to making candles, so if you can imagine, my end product was pretty low quality. I realized there had to be a better way. Better materials and better equipment. So I did research. Lots and LOTS of research. I cried, got frustrated..all the emotions. Until one day it finally clicked. I understood the science behind candle making, and my product got better and better. I invested time, money, and again, research, into making the best candles I could. I decided soy wax, traditional cotton wicks and chemical-free fragrance oils were the best way to go. I knew I wanted my candles to be non-toxic & higher quality than you can buy at major retailers.

I'm proud of the progress I've made over the past six years, and I'm excited to keep learning + growing. Absolutely none of this would be possible without the support of my friends, family & most importantly, YOU! Thank you so much for trusting me with your candles, it truly means the world to me!
